The Celonis Total Rewards Philosophy - Frank Van der Leeden, VP Performance & Total Rewards

At Celonis, our mission is to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet. To achieve this, we need to build the best teams. Building the best team requires more than just a competitive salary—it requires a cohesive rewards offering. I’m often asked how we design a benefits package that actually works. Here is a transparent look at how we reward excellence at Celonis.

A Transparent, Market-Anchored Pay Philosophy

We don’t believe in guesswork. Our compensation strategy is designed to be as precise as our software.

Data-Driven Benchmarking: We anchor our salaries against an elite peer group of global technology leaders, ensuring our Celonauts receive competitive compensation.

Performance-Linked Growth: We conduct regular, data-backed salary reviews to ensure that as the market moves and your impact grows, your compensation follows suit.

Ownership: Every Celonaut is an Owner

We want every employee to think and act like an owner. That is why Equity (Restricted Stock Units) is a fundamental part of our total rewards package.

RSUs for Everyone: Unlike many companies where equity is reserved for executives, at Celonis, every full time new hire—regardless of level or location—receives an equity grant. When Celonis wins, you win. Our RSUs allow you to share in the long-term value you help create.

The "Education Kicker": Investing in the Next Generation

One of our most unique and celebrated benefits is the Education Kicker. We believe in supporting our teams as they are building for their families.

Equity for Newborns: When an active employee welcomes a new child (via birth or adoption), Celonis provides a specialized equity grant for the child. This "kicker" is intended to grow alongside the child, helping to fund their future education. It is our way of saying that your family is part of the Celonis journey.

World-Class Support for Families

We recognize that "work-life balance" looks different for everyone. Our parental leave policy is designed to give you the time you need for what matters most.

Main Carer Leave: 24 weeks of fully paid leave.

Supporting Carer Leave: 12 weeks of fully paid leave.

Global Standard: We provide a high baseline of support globally, ensuring consistency and care across all our international hubs.

Local Perks with Global Impact

Sustainable Commuting: In our bike-friendly hubs, we offer company-sponsored bikes to promote wellness and sustainability.

Office Culture: From high-end coffee and healthy snacks to "Impact Days" where we give back to our communities, our offices are designed for collaboration and purpose.

Legendary Celebrations: We celebrate our roots and our success with annual events like the Celonis Ski Trip, Year-end parties and our world-famous Oktoberfest celebrations in Munich.
