I wanted to understand how businesses run, so I started my own when I was still at university. Years later, Celonis invited me to "switch sides" and bring that commercial expertise to their Deal Desk.
Where it all began
I grew up in the Black Forest, Germany. It’s where I studied Law & Economics and learned the value of a solid foundation and a lengthy stroll in nature. During university, I became obsessed with how companies actually work. That curiosity led me to start my first venture while still a student. It was a steep learning curve, but I loved every second of it.
My life before Celonis
I was honored when that student project evolved into something more, winning the German Design Award in 2020. More than the award itself, it taught me that "design" isn’t just how something looks, but also how it functions and how it solves problems.
Joining Celonis
Life moved fast: I finished my studies and became a parent. I ended my project and joined an IT-hardware specialized in optimizing contracts. Two years later, Celonis invited me to "switch sides" and bring that commercial expertise to their Deal Desk.
My first day at Celonis
Joining in May 2021, I was drawn to the intersection of information and execution. To me, Deal Desk is about finding the "sweet spot" where strategy, commercials, and changing circumstances meet.
My journey at Celonis
My team partners with the whole business to execute and commercialize the Celonis vision. We maximize every opportunity by removing friction, ensuring the right deals get done the right way.
As for my team…
I believe our team is a wonderful blend of very different personalities and strengths. It’s an honor to work with high-performers who constantly raise the bar and find ways to succeed within any constraint.
Outside of work
When the laptop closes, I love to be just "Dad." Spending time with my family is my ultimate reset. And if we have a spare moment? You’ll probably find us indulging our shared love for design.
