Ilkim Sen
From Istanbul to Munich. After finishing my master’s thesis, I wanted to put my educational psychology background to work. Now, I build online training for our customers and partners, making their onboarding simple.
Where it all began
I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, and I studied Psychology.
My life before Celonis
Before Celonis, I was a fresh graduate working hard to navigate my transition from academia to business and make it in Germany as an expat!
My first day at Celonis
I joined Celonis as my first full-time job after my master's studies. I wanted to apply my knowledge in Educational Psychology, drive my own projects end-to-end, and become part of a diverse team.
My journey at Celonis
As a Learning Experience Designer at Celonis Academy, I create online training tracks to facilitate onboarding for our customers and partners to Celonis and to scale user adoption across their organizations.

A piece of advice
Something I’d tell my younger self: if you never ask, the answer is always no. Never hesitate to ask for what you want or need; whether it’s getting support, taking on a new challenge, or joining an exciting project!
Outside of work
On my weeks off, you can bet I’ll be travelling somewhere new to dance all night at a concert from my endless bucket list! - Unless I’m back in my hometown, cuddling with my cat :)
