I was ready to say goodbye to Celonis. This is the story of why I didn't.

Where it all began

I was born and raised in the North of England before heading to Oxford University, where I studied Classics.

My life before Celonis

Before joining Celonis, I worked in strategy consulting at Accenture, where I specialized in the design of target operating models to enable strategic execution and business transformation.

My first day at Celonis

I joined Celonis in 2021 because I wanted to be part of something fast-paced and exciting. Be careful what you wish for! I was the second hire for the Value Engineering team in our London office and was building our customer success playbook from Day 1.

My journey at Celonis

I got promoted a couple of times before things got exciting at home, too, when my husband and I welcomed our first child.

My journey at Celonis

Just as I was due back from maternity leave, my husband got an unmissable job opportunity in the Bay Area. We had no family over there, and because I needed more flexibility, I got ready to say goodbye to Celonis.

My journey at Celonis

But Celonis bent over backwards to accommodate me, giving me the support and flexible hours I needed to transition smoothly into the global Customer Transformation team based out of our Redwood City office.

One career advice

Nothing is ever just about the tech - it's always about the people who work with it. I now work with our customers to create the best possible Operating Models at their organizations to make Celonis really work for them.

As for my team…

My new team is small but determined! We work across the world to create an outsized impact on our customers’ success.

Outside of work

Outside of Celonis, I spend as much time as possible with my family, exploring the beautiful Bay Area. When I have the time, I love to exercise, read, and write.

This is my Life At Celonis

A journey that has taken me places I wouldn’t expect - but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
