In the fast-moving world of technology, careers rarely follow a straight line. For Chloe Ehrlich, what began as an interest in supply chain has evolved into a role that blends problem-solving, data, and customer impact. Today, Chloe is an Associate Value Engineer in Celonis’ High Tech sector, but her journey started in the Orbit Graduate Program, a launchpad for Celonauts who want to grow quickly, take ownership, and make an impact.
Celonaut Spotlight: Chloe Ehrlich, Associate Value Engineer
When Chloe Ehrlich joined the Celonis Orbit Graduate Program, she saw it as a chance to grow her skills. Now, as an Associate Value Engineer, she’s proving just how far that opportunity can go.
Discovering Celonis
Chloe’s fascination with processes began during her studies.
“I studied Supply Chain in college, which gave me an appreciation for how processes impact performance. When I discovered Celonis, I realized it was a platform for taking process optimization to an entirely new level—broader, more complex, and more impactful than anything I had seen before. That mix of scale and innovation drew me in.”
Early experiences at Lululemon and a tech internship using Power BI sharpened her skills in supply chain and data. While consulting once seemed like the obvious path, Chloe recognized it wasn’t the right fit. Instead, she wanted to grow her career in Raleigh, leading her straight to Celonis and the Orbit Program.
“Working at Lululemon in college gave me a firsthand look at supply chain and led me to study it at NC State. I once thought I wanted to go into consulting, but I realized that lifestyle wasn’t for me. A tech-focused internship using Power BI showed me my strengths in data and problem-solving. By senior year, I knew I wanted to stay in Raleigh, which ultimately led me to discover and join the Orbit Program.”
From Orbit Graduate to Value Engineer
In her role today, no two days look the same.
“There’s really no such thing as a ‘typical’ day in my role, which is one of the things I love most about it. Some days are packed with back-to-back meetings with teammates and customers, while others I’m focused on creating deliverables like customer workshop decks. That balance of collaboration, problem-solving, and deep focus work keeps every day interesting.”
This variety has shaped her professional growth, but more importantly, it’s helped her find her voice.
“One of the biggest ways I’ve grown is by learning to advocate for myself and use my voice, even when I’m the least experienced person in the room. Early on I realized my perspective still adds value, and speaking up has helped me build confidence, contribute meaningfully, and develop stronger relationships with my team and with customers.”
That confidence has already earned her recognition:
“I’m proud of winning the first ‘Into the Storm’ award, which recognizes people who embody our mindset of running toward challenges with courage, clarity, and grit. Receiving it was incredibly meaningful because it showed that my contributions were making an impact and that I was living up to the values that define both my team and the company.”
Culture, Values & Balance
Behind Chloe’s success is a team that lifts each other up.
“Our team culture is one of support, trust, and collaboration. Everyone is willing to help, share knowledge, and push one another forward, but we also make time to connect as people, whether that’s chatting about our weekends or checking in on each other. That space to be authentic builds real connection and makes working together even more rewarding.”
Of all the Celonis values, one stands out for Chloe:
“My favorite company value is We Own It. Accountability is something I hold myself to both personally and professionally, and I see it reflected daily in my work. To me, ownership means taking responsibility for deliverables, being resourceful when challenges arise, and always following through so teammates and customers know they can count on me.”
She also finds balance through Wellhub, her favorite Celonis perk.
“My favorite perk is Wellhub. I’m very active and I love variety, so the flexibility it gives me is perfect. One day I might go to the gym, the next I can take a pilates class, and later in the week I might unwind with a yoga flow. Having all of those options in one place keeps me motivated and makes it easier to fit movement into my routine.”
Advice for Future Celonauts
For those considering Celonis or the Orbit Graduate Program, Chloe has one piece of advice:
“Be comfortable not knowing everything right away and stay curious enough to fill in the gaps as you go. At Celonis there’s always more to learn, and that’s what makes it exciting. We’re a team of smart, quirky problem-solvers who find real satisfaction in tackling challenges and getting things done. A can-do mindset goes a long way here.”
